【DSE 英文 SBA】基本資料
DSE English SBA 佔香港中學文憑試英文科約 15%，因此其重要性不可忽視。評估學生 SBA 的方法是從中四開始，學校會提供 SBA 問題和以下四類的指定讀物推薦名單：
Print fiction 書 (小說)
Print non-fiction (非小說)
Non-print fiction 電影 / 電視劇
Non-print non-fiction 紀錄片
學生需要進行 Individual Presentation (IP) 個人演講或 Group Discussion (GD) 小組討論。前者約 4-5 分鐘，而後者根據小組人數，持續約 10 分鐘。
【SBA IP】考核方向
學生設計 IP 講稿內容時，可以向類似 book sharing 或 movie review 等方向出發。
通常，學校老師會給學生列出數個處境 situations 或 指引 prompts，供考生準備文稿。學生於是可以根據指定讀物加入自己闡述 elaboration 和意見 opinion。

請注意，英文 SBA 主要評估考生的英語表達能力 Delivery，而不是內容 Content 為主。因此，考生設計 SBA 講稿後，記得花時間努力地練習演講技巧。

記得大方邀請較安靜的學生多參與討論
盡量不要壟斷發言，be a good team player，確保每個學生都有發言機會
在提出自己新觀點之前，先回應或總結他人之前的觀點
發言時要 speak up，並保持與其他學生的眼神交流
